Everything happens for a reason

Way back in 1987, I happened to travel to Sikkim, with Society Of Nature Photographers, Delhi, through an organized tour. There, I met Bedi Brothers - The Stalwarts In Wildlife, who showed their two films, and a long session on photography. It was a turning point for me, as only after meeting this duo, back home, my photography started becoming more defined and refined. I started concentrating on wild life. Right from buying equipment, to travel locales to post processing, I started doing all under their guidance. Everything else became history. Happy to have met them in life.

I had many photo features on wild life and travel published in magazines, and then decorating few walls here and there, including Max Hospital, Gurgaon.

It has been a tough journey, facing thrilling and horrifying encounters, like mock charge by tiger in Bandhavgarh, chase by tusker in Corbett, swarms of ants and bees in Chhattarpur, the maddening rains and landslides in Badrinath – but now I sit and enjoy those pictures, and only thank God for everything!!

The support of family in all these ventures has been phenomenal.

Everything happens for a reason.
